Boongaroon

Boongaroon is the the Indigenous name for the headwaters of the Yass River. News of the society's activities, coming events and articles reflecting both the history of the Yass district and Australia. The society exchanges journal with approximately thirty New South Wales local and family history organisations. An index of articles from past issues of Boongaroon can be viewed We welcome written contributions from members on any aspect of an historical nature pertaining to the Yass district. The society reserves the right to edit articles submitted for uniformity of style. Contributions can be emailed to boongaroon@yasshistory.org.au
